Mr Kakavas is suing Crown Casino for $35-million saying “I shouldn’t have been allowed to gamble there because Crown’s management knew of my addiction.”

As well as suing Crown Casino, the law suit details Crown Casino chief executive Rowen Craigie, and its chief operating officer John Williams, as co-defendants.

According to reports Mr Kakayas told the court how he borrowed large sums of money from friends and family including $50,000 from his parents, all while hiding his gambling problem.
The suit also includes $20million in losses which Kakayas believes he is entitled to, due to the Casino not addressing his gambling addiction.

Overall, MGM earned $113 million for the second quarter. While this was down from the $360 million they made in last year’s second quarter.
