The Mashpee Wampanoag tribe are hoping to build a $1 Billion gambling resort in the region of Middleboro. However the organization must seek state and federal permission from the governor of the region before plans can go ahead. The tribe are hoping to construct the area’s first Las Vegas style casino with lavish interior, poker tables and a variety of slot machines.

If the project is not approved the tribe will go ahead with building a smaller scale casino with only bingo and slot machines.
